So my book cover shoot went down yesterday in the A! In addition to being super talented, Mr. Derek Blanks is also super fast, so I already have the raw images back!
We shot hundreds of pictures and four outfits, so the decision making is on. Because I’m impatient, I wanted to share a few images with you:
I was nervous, but I’ve worked with the team before, so it wasn’t just a breeze: it was fun! Latasha Wright did my makeup, Daniel Hawkins styled me, and I wore looks from Marq by Marquette, Theory, and more!
This whole book launch thing is happening super fast! The goal is to launch in time for Cocktails with Claire on December 11th. If anything, they’ll be available for pre-sale, but let’s get it poppin and have at least 100 copies ready for retail.
To anyone out there who is reading: THANK YOU for your support. I am a ball of nerves at all times, but you guys make it alright.
