This Fashion Week whizzed by in a flash! And to be honest, I was so focused on The Bomb Fashion Show, that I wasn’t even focused for the first few days…then AFTER the Bomb Fashion Show, I was exhausted!
For the most part, I stuck to golds and creams, starting off with Christian Siriano in custom Siriano:
Day 2, I wore a dress by black owned, British brand Kilentar for the Prabal Gurung show:
The day after the Fashion Show, I popped by a baby Christening and the Jason Wu show! I wore Jovani:
And my last day, I went to the PatBo show, and they were kind enough to dress me! I wore this to the PatBo, Love Shack Fancy, and Bruce Glen, and Bibhu Mohapatra shows:
I’m back to wearing wigs, specifically wigs from True Indian Hair! As much as I LOVE the perfect platinum pixie, my hair is baby fine and more than a few people scared me with notions of future baldness that I’m going to give my hair a rest for a bit.
Also, I have been going to fashion week for over a decade and I feel so….tired by it all. Thankfully Fashion Week is getting slower and shorter. Maybe by the time I’m ready to retire, Fashion Week will be obsolete. Though that’d be sad– I do adore Fashion Week from a social standpoint–it’s like a family reunion!
At any rate, I am gearing up for Milan and Paris. If you’d like me to wear your brand, email book@clairesulmers.com!
Love & Light,
