New York Style Diary: A Topshop Olive Green Trench, Balmain Belt, and Balmain Boots

So ever since I moved to my new place, which is deeper in Brooklyn, going into Manhattan has become more of an affair. When I have one meeting on the books, I go ahead and make a whole day of it because traveling back and forth would be a bit much! I tend to schedule a bunch of other meetings, and shop and dine in between stops.

Today I did all of the above, so kept it as comfy as possible in a Topshop Olive Green Jacket, dark jeans, and Balmain thigh high boots.

My Balmain boots are my definition of comfortable. LOL. I accessorized with all gold everything i.e. gold bangles and a chunky gold necklace. Remind me to do a post on some great jewelry essentials.

Then I was off! After grabbing lunch at Sarabeth’s, I popped by the Prada store and actually ran into a Fashion Bomb reader who worked there! The world is getting smaller! At any rate, it’s high time for me to ditch the boots in favor of sandals (even though it’s still 39 degrees in NYC). So I scored these Prada wavy sandals that have been on my lust list since I went to Cancun in January.

I got the last size 40.5 in the nation. Ow! Can’t wait to wear ’em.
Then I had a meeting uptown, so thought…why not pop by Bergdorf’s? I was on a Spring shoe mission, and had my eye on Tom Ford Padlocks pumps in a lighter color. Check out my Snapchat of the process (do you follow me on Snapchat? My username is ClaireSulmers).

Though it was definitely LOVE with those, I want the white color, so will order online. I also found out Tom Ford runs small (I’m a 42 in his shoes). It’s always good to check first and try on before biting the bullet!
I also ended up leaving those babies in the store because I hate to do ‘too much’ in one day. I’m trying to budget, so will wait and plan a bit more before I splurge. Hope noone out there nabs the last white pair in my size before I do!
