Twas the night before Cocktails with Claire and instead of saying ‘Goodnight,’ I’m picking my pimples and attempting to write. Behold, some poetry. What do you think? I won’t quit my day job.
At any rate, our musical performance, Gift3d, just landed, and I’m passing the time as I attempt to coordinate his Uber pickup. So, behold my latest look!
Y’all know me: I love a good sweater dress. So when French Connection offered to send me something from their site, I looked no further than this cable ridged dress. Cute, right?
It wasn’t quite as chilly as it is now, so a fur vest did the trick. My hair was a mess, so I popped on a Rag & Bone hat. And look! My Givenchy wedge boots are now somewhat able to get up to my knees, though I sill think they’re dragging a bit!
After taking pix of my lewk, I stopped by a trunk show for a shoe brand called JJ Gray. Though shoes were on the menu, I fell in love with a hat by Gladys Tamez, a stunning milliner, who makes hats for Lady Gaga. I purchased a baseball cap, then grabbed pix with friends including Kimberly Hatchett, Kenny Hamilton, and many more.
Fun times, but that’s enough reminiscing. I gotta go to bed. I need to fine tune my speech and make sure all the talent is in the building for Cocktails with Claire.
