On Juneteenth, I received the inaugural Fashion Award at Camille Rose Naturals’ Beauté Noire Dandy Dinner & Gala. It was a chic evening celebrating style, culture, and entrepreneurship, and I was happy to be recognized among a room full of creatives and tastemakers.

The event, hosted by Camille Rose founder Janell Stephens, brought out some of Atlanta’s most stylish figures.

The vibe was upscale and elevated, with florals, cocktails, and plenty of photo-ready moments. Honorees were acknowledged for their contributions across beauty, business, and fashion, and the overall tone was one of camaraderie and celebration.
Since the theme was “Dandy,” I wanted to give a clean, tailored take. I wore a Toni Bowtie shirt from Revolve paired with a fishtail skirt by Entire Studios.
Guests included Yandy Smith, who made a statement in yellow Oyemwen, Monyetta Shaw in sleek black satin Dolce & Gabbana, Latasha Wright in Thom Browne, Derek J, Miss Lawrence, and more. The night was fun, stylish, and full of some of my faves!
Thank you to the Camille Rose Naturals Team for continuing to highlight Black excellence in an authentic way.
Love & Light,
