So I’m a Colgate Optic White Ambassador!
And as part of my duties, I was flown out to LA to participate in a Grammy’s themed watch party and photo shoot. More images are coming soon, but behold: my ensemble choice for the night.
There’s sometimes a bit of a story behind my outfits, and this one is a doozy (?). I fell in love with the dress, and have been werking out a bit, so thought I could buy a size 10 instead of a 12 (which was sold out). I’ve been traveling a bunch, so just ordered it, stuck it in my bag, and hoped it would fit.
Of course, when I slipped it on, an hour before I was scheduled to leave for the shoot, it didn’t button up all the way! This is how it’s supposed to fit.
So I thought fast, borrowed Bae’s button down, and slipped it on underneath. Even his shirt was a bit snug, but it worked.
The whole night we were doing the shoot, the dress would POP OPEN when I sat down (there are snap buttons on it). Moving forward, I might get it let out a bit (I have an ahmazing tailor in New York) and also get the buttons changed ( so they stay put–no more pop opens!). But sometimes you just gotta ROLL with the punches.
