Leading a Bomb Life means there’s not a ton of time to update TheBombLife.com!
But things are slowing down now (just for a few days anyway!), so here we go…!
Yesterday, I spoke on a panel on digital magnetism called Amplifying your Impact at Viacom. I, along with blog and digital superstars Luvvie Ajayi, Maureen Carter, Emil Wilbekin, and Ava L. Hall spoke about the importance of diversifying your platform and using social media to your advantage.
Afterwards I hit up a Fashion Presentation for Joi Toi and Rich Girl Candy.
Lexus is a sister brand to Toyota; as a Toyota Ambassador, I was treated to chauffeur service in a Jeremy Scott designed Lexus NX 400.
Sometimes I encounter so many crazy moments in a day it almost seems unreal (though you can see the reality on Snapchat, hello!). In addition to being tired from a whirlwind trip to LA and putting on FBD, CCW Collective, and Claire Cares’s first fashion week presentation (I’ll update with those soon! Until then, catch the recap here), I have a broken blood vessel in my eye…AND the dress I originally planned to wear broke as I was getting dressed! But I was quick on my feet, and slipped on Le Victoria pants I snagged in Lagos, an Ann Demeulemeester shirt, and my favorite Ashaka Givens Hat.
A Cookie-esque fur coat and I was ready to hit the ground running!
Next on my schedule: Essence Black Women in Hollywood!
I was really looking forward to doing absolutely nothing for the next few days, but I was just asked to do a feature for Cosmopolitan Nigeria (!), and next week, I’m shooting with People Style Watch.
Life is busy, but it is ALL a blessing. And it’s crazy that everything I kept saying I wanted to happen is happening.
Something that has always worked for me: set a goal, and tell everyone who will listen of your intentions. Say it over and over again, write it down. Say it before you go to sleep, and when you wake up. The universe aligns, and GOD answers prayers.
