So I’m going to Cuba!
Yes, you heard that right! I was home in Atlanta a few weeks back, and my Dad mentioned that he was going to fly his small plane to Cuba with my sister and my stepmom. I asked if I could join, and he said, Sure!
All seemed fabu until I got a note from my stepmom, saying that due to weight restrictions on the plane, each of us would be limited to 20 pounds. 20 Pounds?!? How, Sway?!?!
My initial thoughts were…this is impossible. But I have a few thoughts, namely buying luggage that weighs almost nothing and being super creative with how I’m going to mix and match.
Pierre won’t be taking this trip, so I won’t be doing Style Diaries all day every day…maybe that’ll give me a chance to just relax in a burlap sack and sneakers. LOL.
I’m on the search now for lightweight luggage and a scale so I can keep track. I’m thinking that I’ll just stick to neutrals, bring a couple pairs of sunglasses, and focus on metallic shoes. But I’m down for the challenge!
Stay tuned!
*My sister Toni took pix of me in Brazil, so I know she has skills! She took the one below.
Stay tuned for my flicks from Havana.
**These images are by Visuals by Pierre. I’m wearing a Zara knot dress, Giuseppe Zanotti mules, and a choker!
