Happy Wednesday, Bombshells!
As I type, I am flying over 10,000 feet, headed to LA for Essence’s Annual Black Women in Hollywood luncheon! I am also struggling with 8% battery, so I’ma make this quick.
I was recently approached by a firm that sells reality shows to big networks about participating in a series that focuses on women of color in fashion. Though I’ve been approached in the past, I sidestepped similar opportunities simply because the premise seemed off kilter. My main requirements were: no drama. No Personal Stuff. Just say no to ratchet.
What a relief that this new project’s goal seems to simply be about highlighting the work women of color do in the fashion industry. They want glamour, style, and fun. Sign me up!
In this industry, if you want to scale, TV is almost necessary.
It’s just a matter of holding out for the perfect moment.
I’m ready!
What do you think? Would you tune in to my show?
Love & Light!
