What to you eat when you go to Italy? Pizza!
Believe it or not, it’s hard to get a GOOD meal when running around going to shows, but on my last day in Milan, Bruce, Glen, and I went to Le Specialita (Via Pietro Calvi 2920129 Milan):
This famous Milanese eatery was actually recommended to me by my seat mate on my flight to Milan, and it did not disappoint.
I made reservations via Google for 10pm on a Saturday (the earliest I could get), and it took us an hour to get seated (they fed us champagne and shots while we sat):
But once situated, I ordered the Emrata and Mushroom pizzas, and Bruce & Glen ordered shrimp pasta and fried calamari and shrimp. The waiter recommended the Emrata pizza (ham and cheese), and it was delicious! Savory and cheesy, with a thin crust, the pizza and pasta did not disappoint.
I also loved the Calamari and shrimp dish. It’s really hard to go wrong with anything fried.
As we were leaving, I spied Lori Harvey sitting at a table full of gorgeous people. If you go, especially during Milan Fashion Week, you’re sure to see a chic crowd!
