It’s been days since Fashion Week ended, so excuse the delay in uploading this last ensemble!
For my final day, I wore a lips printed tee, Ayaba pants (from Naija), and an Oak coat, covered by a Duckie Confetti Stole and a Versace belt.
My first stop was Kimora Lee Simmons’s KLS Collection, where I ran into bomb business women Karen Hatchett, Kim Hatchett, and Nina Cooper. I’m going to have to do interviews with them sometime soon, but you all should know about the women of color making serious moves in the finance, entertainment, and banking industries. These women are amazing!
Ms. Jay was also in the building, so I said hey to him..
Then made my way downtown to go to the Laquan Smith presentation. I thought it started at 2, my staff writer Marsha said it was from 12-4, so I thought I had time, and sat down for a sumptuous meat and cheese platter from the Standard Grill.
I left around 2 and my eyes lit up when I saw…
Cardi B! She looked bomb in a sheer blue Laquan Smith dress and a Helen Yarmak fur. We took a few pix.
And then she informed me that the LaQuan show ended at 2. Womp. At any rate, I went on to Skylight Clarkson to catch the Marchesa show, then my day and Fashion Week were done.
Can I be kinda honest with y’all? I am over Fashion Week. My fingers are itching to write something about it.
Stay tuned…
Love + Light,
*I can’t for the life of me remember who made this tee…I just know I got it in Nigeria. Someone help me out!
