I have a blogging motto, which is: Just One More Post.
No matter how tired I am or how long of a day I’ve had, I push myself to put just one more post up before I sign out. This attitude is inspired by a chapter in one of my all time favorite books, How to Become CEO by Jeffrey J Fox. I’ll include the full chapter at the end of this post (don’t worry, the beauty of this book is that each ‘chapter’ is about a paragraph long). But the Cliff Notes version of the chapter is that to be ‘the best,’ you have to do just a little more than everyone else.
Which brings me to this post! It’s 2am on a Saturday night/Sunday morning, and I’ve been out all day rolling with the homies. But…wanted to share my outfit with ya!

This past Friday, I was invited to a pop up shop event for Lala Anthony’s 5th and Mercer line. I recently fell in love with Nordstrom.com’s Savvy section, so decided to showcase a few of my most recent spoils, including a Topshop Mint Green Sequin Skirt and a Natasha Couture clutch.
I added a bit of sparkle to my neckline with a dope necklace fashioned by my friend Sarah Johnson! She has a line called Sisoo Jewelry that is the business. It’s glittery and fabulous!
I colorblocked a bit with a lemon yellow coat from Zara, and completed my look with a pair of Stuart Weitzman Nudist sandals, that I’m not sure are too small.
It’s like they fit my foot *perfectly*, so much so that I’m afraid my big toe is hanging off the end. What do you think?
Anywho, Lala’s pop up shop event was super fun, and I ran into so many stars I admire (see the Fashion Bomb Daily recap here). It’s almost surreal to me that people I listen to on the radio or watch on TV are familiar with my work.
But I guess it’s just proof of the pudding that hard work pays off.
