Cocktails with Claire was a resounding success in both New York and LA!
I was consistently blown away by the support, good vibes, and fashionable energy at each stylish shindig.
Doing these two made me want to do so much more: go on tour, have CWC bi-annually, and even come out with my own liquor! I think my spirits brand would be something sparkly, refreshing, and low calorie…that packs a punch! I’ll keep thinking on it, but in the meantime, I give you my outfit for NYC!
So the invite called for silver and gold, so I tapped the good folks at Harlem Haberdashery to make me a bespoke suit.
Let me tell you something: getting something custom made is addictive. Fit is everything and you really can’t go wrong when the outfit was literally made for you.
I actually had to go back in about 4 times to make sure the pants fit correctly, the blazer closed at the right spot, etc.
I think it turned out well!
If custom is not your thing, I’d recommend just finding a good tailor. I’m a frequent customer of Master Alterations in midtown, and have brought in so many designer items where I either get the waist taken in or I add fabric to get a bit more movement. Tailoring and fit is everything.
At any rate, I had a blast at the party. See the flix here.
We can only go up from here!
Please join me for the ride;)
