This Sunday, I hosted a screening of the House of Gucci Movie in Harlem.
The film has a strong list of leading characters (Lady Gaga, Adam Driver, Al Pacino, Salma Hayek), and is all about how one woman almost single handedly severed ties between the Gucci family and their brand.
Maurizio Gucci’s father tried to warn him, but Maurizio wouldn’t listen. Just know that one false move or One wrong choice in who you decide to marry…Could literally kill you.
Be discerning. And as cliché as it is, mother and father really do know best! I know this from experience!
