One of the coolest things about this trip to Europe for Fashion Week has been meeting the designers behind some of some favorite brands. Ruslan Baginskiy hats are POPPIN. Everyone from Beyonce to Madonna to Yours Truly wears his bakers boy caps–you’ve seen them on Love & Hip Hop Stars and A-listers alike. Well, I was pleased to meet Ruslan Baginskiy himself while in Paris!
The Ukrainian designer was inspired by his mother, who was a hairdresser. He wanted to make hats that could stand in for a cool hairstyle; as we all know what we wear on our heads is like a crown.
I was pleased as punch to try on some of his new Spring styles in pastel tones, along with some new silhouettes like cowboy hats, faux fur toppers, and more:
I loved everything but one of my favorites was this purple hat. What do you think could I pull this off?
This was certainly one of the highlights of my short trip to Paris!
I am back in LA and it’s 3am:/ I really wonder when my body will get back on track. I had all these plans to work out, but instead slept all day, then hit the gym at midnight! This week is gonna be fun!
