Bevy Smith said, “I know how difficult it is for those of us of a darker hue to have opportunities in the fashion industry. I know how [rare] it is to have global brands actually want to be apart of our world. This is a very important event for me as someone who has worked in the fashion industry for several years. This event really celebrates us and our culture.”
