As the saying goes, better late than never…!
A few weeks ago, I attended Essence Black Women in Hollywood:
I have gone and covered for several years, but this year was a bit last minute. I basically had one day to find a look, and Michael Costello came to the rescue with a slew of options that you’ve seen me wearing over the past few days! I settled upon this fuchsia feathered number for the festivities, which left a trail of plumes wherever I went.
The first few times I’ve gone, I’ve busied myself excitedly grabbing pix with all the brightest stars in the building.
This year, I did a little bit more of the same, but also connected with brands I’d love to work with. The event is wonderful for networking, people watching, and peacocking!
