Happy Wednesday, folks!
This past Sunday, I was invited by Cadillac to attend the Elton John Aids Foundation Oscar’s Watch Party!
Y’all may never know, but I am always in the midst of a wardrobe emergency. I had two dresses on the way to me: one was a custom gown by Matopeda, and another I ordered and was told that it would come on Saturday. Guess what? Neither of them arrived. I was so happy to have found this blue velvet number from Zerina Akers’s Showroom, The Show Must Go On.
Akers has 4 rooms chock full of dresses, shoes, clutches, and jewelry. I was so happy to find a Gala worthy look for my first Oscars affiliated event.
After arriving, I took a pic with Cadillac’s newest vehicle (which just so happened to match my dress!)
And then I said hey to friends like Sharif Poston, Thuso Mbedu, Trell, and More.
It was a fun night, and I can’t wait for more star studded events in LA.
