Before the Winter Holiday, I headed over to Harlem Capital Prep to speak to the students and also present them with the proceeds of our coat drive and wardrobe sale.
Though I was a bit of a grinch this Christmas, nothing gave me greater joy than sharing my story with the school’s 235 students and also feeling their love and appreciation.
I started my charity, Claire Cares, as a way to give back to the community via fashion programs and more. 2017 was just the start of our efforts to enrich those around us. Stay tuned for even more in 2018.
After chatting with the students, I headed even further uptown to Lala’s Winter Wonderland! Lala works with underprivileged girls in the Bronx, and gave them the Christmas treat to end all Christmas treats: a concert featuring Lil Yachty, Young MA, and many more. I was honestly a little pooped by this point and felt a little…old, so I smiled for a few pix, then skedaddled.
I chatted with Joseph Sikora aka Tommy from Power. I was so ashamed that I hadn’t watched the show, but I started watching that night! It was a little violent and racy at first glance, but I’ll keep watching:)
I knew that I would be kicking it with La, so I wore a Bomber Jacket and Jeans from her collection with Lord & Taylor. Her jeans are the bomb!
I completed with Simone Rochas boots with a bejeweled heel.

I’m headed down to Miami for an epic New Year’s Eve party. I won’t tease where I’ll be, but trust, it will be worth reading about.
Now, off to find my New Year’s ensemble…
