A few nights ago, I was on the host committee for a party for Common at Madiba in Harlem.
Sadly, the event was highly disorganized. It started late, and Common wasn’t even there!
Though artist Kehinde Wiley did pop by (I want him to paint me one day!).
I said hey to Uptown Magazine EIC, Isoul Harris.
Real Housewives of Atlanta star, Cynthia Bailey, also stopped through.
I was ready to party, so went for flirty in my very first Cushnie et Ochs dress. I snagged it on sale at Neiman Marcus.
I actually, sadly, broke my Tom Ford heels on the way out the house! I have to get ’em fixed. Wahhh. It’s still a little chilly out, so draped a fur on my shoulders.
And there was my look for the night!
And even though Common was a no show, I still had fun:
