The Bomb Restaurant Miami: Gianni’s at The Villa Casa Casuarina (former Versace Mansion) in Miami in a Zara Velvet Blazer and Pants

So there are lots of great restaurants in Miami! But if you love fashion and history (me!), you should definitely stop by Gianni’s (1116 Ocean Dr, Miami Beach, FL 33139), a restaurant at The Villa Casa Casuarina (former Versace Mansion) in South Beach.
The mansion was home to the late, great Gianni Versace before his untimely death. The courtyard has been transformed into a delicious Italian restaurant. So while down at Art Basel, I popped by!
I love to eat, so ordered the Octopus appetizer (I’m still struggling with waiting to take a picture before diving in).
I also splurged on the lobster. It was delicious.
It was pretty pricey ($389 for 3 people!), but it was a fun experience! It was pretty much in line price wise with other tasty restaurants in MIA (Prime 112, Michael’s, heck even Cecconi’s at Soho House). Eating out in Miami is expensive, but if you want to save money, just have Pollo Tropical for lunch, then go all out for dinner. LOL.
Have you ever eaten at Gianni’s? Was it Hot! or Hmm…?
Love + Light,
**I’ll be honest, I was trying to take some fab pix at the pool! But they don’t allow professional photography. And by the time the restaurant opens, it’s too dark to get good light. Ah well. They were cool with us taking pictures pretty much anywhere with our Iphones.
I kept it comfy in a Zara Velvet blazer and matching pants, which might be the brand’s most popular pieces this season! Teyana Taylor and Winona de Jong have worn it before…and a girl at the restaurant was actually wearing it the night we went! Hilarious!
