When it came to swimwear in TNT, I relied heavily upon Nigerian designer Andrea Iyamah!
For one beach day in Tobago, I slipped on her Tatianna Orange High Waisted swimsuit.
With swimsuits, I’ve learned what silhouettes I can werk and what poses I can strike to hide my flaws. I’m self conscious about my tummy and have the beginnings of love handles, so I slip on a high waisted bikini and also pose with my hands right in the side crease.
Some chick named Sara got in her feelings about me wearing heels to the beach, but when you’re taller, you look leaner. If not, you can always just stand on your tippy toes to give the illusion of height and length.
That said, I know I have some pounds I could lose (my goal is 10), so am gonna start using a trainer again. LOL. I just wrote a post about not shopping as much, but will probably spend my clothes budget on a trainer. I always find a way to spend money. Shame.
But I’m sure a trainer will cost less than my 3 pairs of splurgeworthy shoes a month habit…and will have longer lasting benefits.
I’m going to take a break from bikini pics for the moment, but will re-emerge again for my yearly sejour to BVI in late July.
Let’s see if I can reach my 10 pound weight loss goal!
Working out with a trainer three days a week, who’s with me?!?!
