Today I paid a visit to Iris Lingerie (366 Atlantic Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11217), one of my favorite places to get Bras, Pajamas, and Shape wear .
As you all are aware, I have Big Boobs. The good Lord has blessed me with Girls that ain’t going nowhere. Having the proper undergarments is KEY to having a fabulous look!
Iris is a Belize born bomb business woman who can tell your bust size just by looking at you! If you are anything over a DD (i.e. Bras you can find easily at Victoria’s Secret), then you need to be properly fitted, and Iris does just that!
It doesn’t hurt that Iris is a hoot! Like a chiding auntie, she’ll let you know what you need and instruct you to throw that old bra away (this happened to me today). Due to COVID, she is by appointment only. Give her a call at 718-422-1149 to schedule your appointment.
Be prepared to spend a pretty penny (I honestly still get sticker shock). A good bra will cost you at least $150, but you can wear it for 6 months- a year before having to get another one (no you’re not supposed to hold onto bras for years, y’all). Also, please note that Iris is moving soon! Be sure to call in advance to ensure you go to the correct location. Keep it locked here for the new address (Iris asked me to tell you guys that!).
