Happy Tuesday, Bomb Lifers!
This here blog has gone woefully neglected. But better late than never…!
I plan on recapping all my latest comings and goings: Essence Black Women in Hollywood, the NAACP Image Awards, and so much more. But FIRST: I want you to reflect with gratitude on the fact that you’re living at least one of your answered prayers.

For years, I wanted to move to LA. I put the Hollywood Sign on a vision board. It was in front of my bed, poster size, for many years in my dark, Brooklyn apartment with a window that faced an alleyway. My friends doubted me, saying, “You’re not moving!” It took me 5 years longer than expected, but here I am!
My friend was in town, so we grabbed lunch at one of my favorite spots: the Waldorf Astoria rooftop!
Aside from the great mocktails and superior service, this place has one of most lush, deliciously rich views of the city! So of course I had to snap a few pictures in my mint Michael Costello dress:
Living in LA is bright and sunkissed. And aside from the occasion earthquake(!), one of the things I love the most is waking up to the sunrise.
Even with all the glitz and glamour, my favorite thing about this town is things that money can’t buy: Beautiful views. Sunrises. Breathtaking hikes. Peace of mind.
All that to say: whatever you hope, wish, or pray for can be yours. Not on your time: GOD’s timing is everything.
Also, stay encouraged knowing that whatever you wish for is already yours, if it’s meant to be.
Love & Light,
