So Y’all: The book is done.
Today, I ordered copies of my first book EVER!!!! I’m so excited! I’m so excited! I’m so scared….(gold star if you get that reference)!
I had my friends proofread it, and some of them suggested I omit some chapters or details because of how they would be perceived. Though I respect their opinions, I decided to keep everything in there…even if people judge me or criticize me. It’s my life, my truth, and there are some salient lessons I felt I needed to share.
Like anyone else, you want what you produce to be successful! So while I want all of you to pick it up, part of me wants to keep it close to my heart. It’s a weird feeling, but at the end of the day, I was inspired to do this, and I’m just going to accept this assignment GOD has given me, even if it makes me slightly uncomfortable.
