So I’ve found a new silhouette that works for me: button down shirts and knee length skirts!
Granted, I’m busty. So finding that perfect button down that doesn’t pucker is an issue. I’ve also been traveling, which means that while normally I’d get something tailored or add a few snaps, abroad, c’est pas possible.
So the top pictured is by Zara. I paid about $50 for it. And while it looks fine in pictures, the quality leaves a lot to be desired. The material is thin, it bunches…I could go on.
Literally right after I took these pictures, I made my way to Brooks Brothers on Rue St. Honoré, and purchased one of their no-iron shirts. I love it. Though it still puckers, I don’t have to worry about it ever looking unkempt. It was a splurge at about $100, but I think it’ll be worth the price. I paired it with a Peter Pilotto runway skirt….
And my Gianvito Rossi Bicolor Heels, and that was it!
