Happy Almost Weekend!
So it’s holiday party time! I always aim to go for a festive look, so slipped on a House of Holland velvet dress and Christian Louboutin pumps.
I added a little extra sparkle with earrings from Laura Govan’s store, Shop in Real Life. A fur kept me warm!
I love this dress because it sparkles and basically has all of my favorite things sewn on it in sequins (lobster, champagne, lipstick, chandeliers…!)
I’ve worn this before, but never photographed it, so voila! Which made me think: Before social media, people probably got WAY more use out of their clothes. Now they wear it once and can never be photographed again. But then it also made me think how much social media has undoubtedly fueled the fashion industry. But enough of that!
After snapping a few pix by the Christmas tree on Wall Street, I was off to a bomb holiday party at the Standard. I snapped some pictures with my friends:
Then went home and ate a turkey burger. I know. Holiday parties are not good if you’re trying to stay healthy, BUT I, like so many of you, am going to be kicking off my fitness kick anew in the new year. Who’s with me?
