Happy Wednesday!
Last night, I had the pleasure of attending the 2025 Fashion Trust U.S. Awards with Shop with Google—and what a night it was. The star-studded celebration brought together a well-heeled crowd of designers, celebrities, and creatives, all in support of emerging talent in the fashion industry.
The atmosphere buzzed with style and purpose as I caught up with familiar faces like Gabrielle Union, Kerry Washington, Lori Harvey, Law Roach, Kwame Adusei, Ciara, Sergio Hudson, Jeremy Scott, and so many more. The room was filled with brilliance—from red carpet glam to meaningful conversations about pushing the industry forward. Fashion Trust U.S. is doing powerful work to uplift the next generation of designers, and being part of that mission felt both inspiring and necessary.
For the occasion, I wore a sleek Alaïa dress paired with a Versace bag and heels, styled by Posh McKoy. My hairstylist Queen Wink coiffed my hair into an up and LaTrice Johnson applied my signature smokey eye.
I’m incredibly proud to support organizations like Fashion Trust U.S. that are reshaping the fashion landscape by offering resources, visibility, and opportunities to rising creatives. It’s events like these that remind me why I fell in love with fashion in the first place—not just for the beauty, but for the ability to transform, empower, and include.
