Happy Day After Essence Fest!
I came down as an ambassador for Bomb Brand Mielle Organics, capturing style and kicking it with readers at the Convention Center and their MielleVerse Pop Up!
Day 1, I hit the ground running, and went directly to their forever popping booth at the Convention Center. I wore a dress by a Black Designer I met during BET Awards weekend, Nia Thomas. I said hey to readers, friends, and Lady London (who sings the Mielle theme song).
Day 2, I got some rest and was ready to rumble again! I hit the Convention Center anew and posed with Letoya Luckett, WNBA Player Kysrerae, and Monique herself wearing a sequined dress by Staud. I really had no rhyme or reason to my looks, I just wanted to keep things cool, simple, and glamorous.
I later stopped by their pop up at Riverwalk Outlet and watched the ladies love up on Lance Gross.
I danced a bit with the band and it was a wrap for Essence Fest!
