So this week ended with even more good news: I’m an ambassador for Dark and Lovely’s new #LovemyColor Campaign!
I should do a praise dance to setting goals. This year, I told myself that I wanted ambassadorships in multiple sectors, and it seems I’m getting there!
For some reason, I thought that my career would be solely characterized by struggle. But there comes a time when things start clicking into place, and your hard work starts paying off.
I am probably THE most impatient person in the world. Ask anyone who has worked for me. I’m the kind of person who wants it NOW.
As an entrepreneur, it takes a while to establish credibility. Traditional media typically has decades of a track record. When you’re a start up, you have to show people you’re serious and can produce a quality product–it can take a while!
Over the past 10 years, I’ve learned that patience is a virtue. And you will start to receive everything you’ve ever wanted–eventually. Just…keep…going. And set goals!
GOD answers prayers–on his own time.
