So I have clothes pon clothes! I currently have a storage unit with 7 racks of clothes inside, and boxes of shoes stacked to the ceiling! My business partner recently told me I need to have a Garage Sale: I agree! Until then, I’m really trying to scale back on my consumption and use items more than once. Such is the case with my Sergio Hudson pool blue coat:
Sergio first made it for me, along with matching pants, when I accepted an award with Harlem’s Fashion Row in 2017!
Since then, I’ve remixed it in several ways.
I wore it next to film Fashion Bomb TV. I paired it with Balenciaga boots and a Moschino logo t-shirt dress.
I then wore it to Fashion Week with pants and a matching bralette. This image was picked up in the New York Times!
I pulled it out anew to wear with a matching turtleneck, skirt, and belt for a more recent NYFW:
And then I attended a few investor meetings in LA with the skirt and belt and a white top:
I love that Sergio Hudson pieces are so versatile! And the color is striking. I get compliments all the time.
What do you think? Which pairing was your favorite? And what item in your closet do you wear and remix for endless looks?
Love & Light,
*I’ve also worn the pants with a few different ensembles:
**Isn’t it so interesting how much hair can change the whole feel of a look?
It took me a while, but I feel like I’ve finally found my favorite haircut.
What do you think?
