Happy Thursday!
So I’m at home, nursing an eye infection.
This happens to me WAY too often, undoubtedly due to a mix of working too much, wearing lots of eye makeup, and over wearing my contact lenses! I’ll admit, I was bemoaning the million things on my calendar this week, but I guess my eye stopped me in my tracks (for now!). But before they started acting up, I headed to the city to preview Zendaya’s new shoe line with Law Roach, and hit up a cocktail party for Bally and J. Cole.
My hairstylist is out of town, so most of my looks will center around a hat until she gets back! I love this Borsalino topper I picked up in Italy, so slipped that on, along with an oversized Haider Ackermman shirt and Frame Denim Flared Jeans:
The rest of my look was pretty neutral: suede nude pumps, my Stella McCartney Falabella Bag, and studs.
Though I’m kinda kicking rocks over the status of my eyes, who knows: maybe it’s a sign that I really need to SLOW DOWN. As much as I still want to party it up (I have two No Basics brunches this weekend! Hello!), maybe my body is signaling that it’s time to rest.
Ironically, I’ve been working so much behind the computer today that I couldn’t quite find time to head to the doctor. But if my eye is still a mess tomorrow am, I’ll go, get some drops, and hopefully be in fighting form by tomorrow night!
Prayers up!
*A friend gave me this hat, and now I want more! It’s pretty dope. I might have to stop by Borsalino’s New York store and pick up a few more for future bad hair days…
