Mercedes Benz Spring 2015 Fashion Week Style Diary Day 5: A Givenchy Sequin Mosaic Print Dress, Givenchy Tribal Clutch, and Christian Louboutin So Kate Pumps

So this Spring 2015 Fashion Week season has had one overarching theme: Slacking.
I’ve been slacking with TheBombLife. Slacking with FashionBombDaily. Slacking with Vogue.it.
But Fashion Week is over and now I can devote some energy to writing and updating!

Yesterday I had a pretty light show schedule and a taping at BET.com for a show called Funny Style hosted by Amanda Seales and Desmond Thorne. I’ve been sitting on my Givenchy Mosaic Printed dress since I purchased it a few weeks ago from LuisaViaRoma.com, but figured, I’d just go for it!

I haven’t been to the gym in a few weeks, so bodycon was a pretty dangerous proposition for a day out. But I just slipped on two pairs of Spanx and kept it moving.

I swear by Spanx, y’all. They’re uncomfortable, but sometimes very necessary. Especially if you’re trying to keep it cute and saucy!

At any rate, this is a very interesting time. The Fashion Bomb has transitioned into a new format (after a considerable hiccup). I’m starting to fall back with all my various Fashion Week attendance (I’m skipping London and Milan this season). Change is inevitable. As the famous quote goes, “Change is the essence of life. Be willing to surrender what you are for what you could become.”

Not sure where my journey will take me next.
