It has been more than a week since the Bomb Fashion Show and a few days since New York Fashion Week! It has honestly taken me that long to recover from the excitement, stress, and fun of NYFW!
As I said on Instagram, this year almost took me out! When I first started Fashion Bomb, I was in my 20’s and had all the energy in the world. Now, firmly in my 40’s, my bandwidth is stretched paper thin. To whom much is given, much is required, this I know.
I wrote this post about doing events before I left for New York, waxing poetically, “GOD doesn’t give you the vision without having provision.” I can say with certainty that every year we successfully complete an event, there is a miracle involved. That said, I don’t know if my heart can take it anymore. The high blood pressure and the stress might be better suited for someone twenty years my junior. But we shall see….!
I am happily back in LA, even just for a few days, before I fly out again for my next European adventure.
Thank you to everyone who helped make the Bomb Fashion Show a reality. It was definitely a team effort and I know I haven’t thanked every single person who contributed, but know that I see you, I love you, and maybe see you at the next one..!
