So yesterday was my birthday!!!
Normally I’d be somewhere warm, but I was alerted a few days ago that I was approved to take a press trip to Paris! So I decided to skip the Caribbean get away and focus on my voyage to France.
My day started with a birthday themed shoot with Pierre. We headed down to Dumbo with 6 big old balloons. It was windy and blustery, but the shoot was fun! I wore an Ashaka Givens hat, a Plutocracy jacket, Robert Rodriguez feather skirt, and Brian Atwood pumps.
Afterwards we grabbed dinner at Blue Ribbon Brooklyn, one of my favorite restaurants in BK. I love the sautéed calamari and the Paella.
Then I invited a few close friends to drinks at Soho Grand. The spot is luxuriously glam, and I instructed everyone to wear black and gold.
Everyone looked great as we toasted to another year.
It was a fun birthday and I’m still recovering!!
At any rate, thank you all for your birthday wishes. I had a blast! I’ll be writing back in again from beautiful Paris. I can’t wait!!
