New York Style Diary: At Samsung’s Mashable Fashion Dinner in a McQ by Alexander McQueen Tiger Print Dress and Gianvito Rossi Black and White Pumps

So yesterday, I had a series of great meetings!
I’m trying to scale Fashion Bomb Daily and help it achieve its greatest potential! Doing so takes many talks. Because I was in business mode, I went for a conservative look with a Brooks Brothers button down and a McQ by Alexander McQueen tiger print dress.

I added some kick with black and white Gianvito Rossi pumps.

This look brought me back to my junior high and high school days. I really am a prep at heart, and one of my favorite combos was always a button down with a jumper/dress and heels.

This look is very ‘me.’ And feeling comfortable is a great confidence booster when you’re in ‘boss’ mode.

After my meetings, I stopped by a Mashable Fashion dinner sponsored by Samsung, and cut up with my fellow black fashion editors and fly girls, including Nikki Ogunnaike, Danielle and Gabby Prescod, Kitty Cash, and more.

I honestly fell in love with the Samsung phones at the table! They have an AMAZING camera that takes the best selfies (see?).

Our skin looks creamy and flaw free! It’s not like that in real life! I might be a new convert!
