Day 5 New York Fall 2014 Fashion Week: A 3.1 Phillip Lim Nueva York Tank, Givenchy Ruffled Skirt, and Saint Laurent Zip Booties

I love seeing how many ways I can wear items in my wardrobe!
I first wore my 3.1 Phillip Lim tank with white jeans and a white fur. For a day full of shows and a night full of events, I paired it with a black ruffled Givenchy skirt, black biker jacket, and Saint Laurent zip booties.

All these labels seem really crazy, but I got every single thing on super sale! Every thing. The Givenchy skirt was the last one in my size on Bergdorf Goodman. Snagged the Saint Laurent booties from Net-a-Porter during their sale. This is what you do if you love fashion, but not the high prices!

At any rate, I recounted my experience with racial profiling in NYC on Fashion Bomb Daily. Not generally my style, but ish is so real. I love New York (as my shirt says), but sometimes you have to deal with serious BS. I don’t get why cabs still think its ok to discriminate against people. I was going from Meatpacking to 42nd street. I tip–all the time (I even tipped the cab driver who gave us so much trouble by force of habit!). At any rate, it boggles the mind.

On a lighter note, I had a great night out (I took Uber after that)! Finally met Zendaya Coleman who is so beautiful and modelesque in person. EJ Johnson is a ki ki, I live for him! I need to find out more about him–does he want to be an editor? What’s his plan for his future in fashion? Etc




At any rate, all these events and shows can sometimes get in the way of my true love: writing! So on that note, I’m off to whip up a few posts for FBD.
