Happy Friday!
Last weekend, I tipped down to MIA to celebrate the brilliant and beautiful Monique Rodriguez’s birthday!
Letoya Luckett, Eudoxie, Marilyn Battiel, Jeremy Haynes, Kym Lee, Marcel Anderson, Khadeen and Devale Ellis, and more came together to indulge in a delicious meal, dance, and toast to one of the flyest CEO’s I know!
For the occasion, I wore a red dress by Haitian Miami based brand Atelier Ndigo. I received the dress earlier that day, and while I was oiling up my legs before I headed out the door, the zipper broke! If I were a Gen Z-er I would have put the whole ordeal on Tik Tok, but alas.
Anywho, thankfully I always travel with a sewing kit, so I got busy with some red thread and no one was the wiser. Sometimes you never know what goes on behind the scenes of these events!
Thank GOD, we never look like what we’ve been through.
