Day 2 of Essence Fest kicked off with a quick stop on Bourbon Street. Afterwards, I joined Funky Dineva down to tha bar at the Red Light District. I am a silent member of the Funky Bunch! I love Quentin so much, he is laugh out loud funny and I’m always so proud of his success.
From there, I headed to the Convention Center and stopped by the Mielle Organics booth. I caught up with my girl Monique Rodriguez, and said hey to Mielle Organics President Omar Goff, along with Essence’s new Chief Content Officer, Michele Ghee. The Mielle booth is always lit! I’m always learning or doing a new line dance while interacting with readers.
Afterwards, we made our way through the Convention Center. Even if I’m just walking around, I can’t help but to document the style, and was juiced to catch up with a few of my faves, including Chee Smalls and Bruce Glen.
For the day, I gave Beverly Hills Heiress in a look by the brand, Femme LA heels and a Dior bag.
My glam squad made sure I was camera-ready, with hair by BWT Good Hair installed by Dallas Dyvitoi, and makeup by Already Perfect. As Essence Fest heads into its final day, there’s still more style and inspiration to come.
