It’s easy to get lost comparing yourself to others if you’re active on social media. You might see one colleague score a great gig, and another colleague cheesing it up with people you love and admire. You might feel less that or as if you are not doing what you need to do. Take comfort in knowing that what is meant for you is for you.
The other day I took meetings in the city, having informative rendez vous about my next book (she’s coming) and potential TV projects. Some meetings were encouraging, some were lukewarm. No matter what obstacles you face, know that if you want something and it’s meant to be, it will be. It might take you a little longer than what you would like…maybe you’ll have some false starts. But if I know anything in life, I know that things happen as they should..for a reason and in seasons. Just be patient and trust your journey.
And try not to compare yourself to others. It’s a distraction and might take you off course.

*I rocked a Balenciaga logo sweater, leather pants, and white pumps the other day. My feet were so tired after all that, that I couldn’t muster any energy for Halloween fun. I’ll start planning for next year now:)
