Someone asked me once what I do to relax. I’m a bit of a workaholic, I’ll admit it! But when I do decide to treat myself, it’s all about facials and massages.
I recently popped by Red Door Spa at 663 5th Ave, at 52nd Street, New York, NY 10022 (212) 546-0200.
I got the signature facial, along with a Collagen Face Treatment and Microdermabrasion.
Let me tell you: it was pretty amazing. I always feel so relaxed, and want to fall right to sleep while on the table. My facialist, Claudia, was a doll, and told me I had great skin:) She then recommended the Elizabeth Arden Pro Invigorating Face & Body Scrub, which I’ll definitely spring for soon. She said I should use this twice a week to battle shine.
At any rate, I recommend Red Door, but it was a little pricey! The Signature Facial was $148, and the added additions totaled $160. I experienced a bit of sticker shock on my way out, but as long as you’re prepared, splurge on.
