So after Art Basel, I flew to New York to host the kickoff party for the fourth annual Misa Hylton Fashion Academy All Star Program.
I participated in year one of the program, and it was a joy to pour into the next generation of fashion creatives. In addition to me offering expertise, I also learned from young people, many of whom I’ve kept in touch with since!
For the kickoff celebration, I wore a Gucci top sourced from TSMGO Fashion Rental, paired with an Oyemwen skirt available at FashionBombDailyShop.
The look was completed with a stole from Daniel’s Leather.
Operating at the intersection of education, access, and industry opportunity, the Misa Hylton Fashion Academy continues to do the necessary work of preparing the next generation of fashion creatives. The All Star Program is strengthened by a transformative partnership with PVH Corp and Parsons School of Design, creating a powerful model for what intentional mentorship and institutional backing can look like in fashion. Together, these entities are not only offering skills training, but also access, exposure, and a tangible pathway into an industry that often feels closed off.
This is why we show up. This is why we support programs like this. Celebrating young designers, championing clear pathways into fashion, and ensuring new voices have the resources, education, and visibility they deserve is central to the mission of Fashion Bomb Daily. The future of fashion is bright—and it looks exactly like them.
