Claire’s Life: Attending Shoes for a Cure in Miami Wearing Sergio Hudson, Lapointe, and Louboutin

I spent the weekend in Miami, and my first night kicked off with Shoes for a Cure—an incredible initiative by the Fashion Footwear Charitable Foundation supporting breast cancer research. The event beautifully combined fashion and philanthropy, showing how style can have a real impact beyond the runway.

Hosted in the heart of the Miami Design District, the evening brought together some of the biggest names in luxury, including Maison Valentino, Tom Ford, Ferragamo, and Sevan Biçakçi. Miami’s finest were also in attendance, including Craig Robins, Jimmy Graham, Marshall Kline, Cel Marcelo, and co-chair Kinga Lampert. The event was both elegant and heartfelt, with proceeds benefiting the Braman Family Breast Cancer Institute at the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, part of the University of Miami Health System.

The celebration marks the first stop on Shoes for a Cure’s nationwide effort. Next week, the charity will continue in New York with a five-day sale at Chelsea Market and a kickoff event at Saks Fifth Avenue—both designed to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer research while uniting fashion lovers and philanthropists alike.

For the evening, I wore a pastel tweed jacket by Sergio Hudson, a minimalist top from Entire Studios, silk feather-trim pants by Lapointe, and classic pumps by Christian Louboutin. It was the perfect last minute (!) look for a night where compassion and couture came together in true Miami style.
