The Bomb Life 101: Beware of the Company You Keep

As the popular phrase goes, “Birds of a feather flock together.” So Beware of the Company You Keep!

Try to surround yourself with people you admire. People whose lifestyle you may aspire to have. People with good morals and values, and who believe in truth and honesty. Just say no to drama, negativity, and to people who don’t do the right thing. As Corinthians 15:33 says, “Bad company corrupts good morals.”

Stay on the up and up and be very discerning about who you let in your circle. Get a background check. Ask others for references. At a certain level, you have to set a certain standard for yourself because some people will try to take from you, ruin your relationships (both personal and professional), or take advantage of you!

If you want to be a great business woman, surround yourself with people who do great business. If you are an honest person, surround yourself with honest people. Set high standards for yourself in all areas of life, and you will reap the benefits.
