New York Winter 2014 Style Diary: A River Island Maxi Embellished Coat, Zara Navy Slacks, and Michelle New York Fur Trooper Hat

Though my eyes are set on spring, it’s still brick in NYC!
I had a meeting in Manhattan today, so pulled out some of my warmest accoutrements, including my fur trooper hat from Michelle New York:

Yeah, it’s big! I love, love, love it.

I went for neutrals with my ensemble, and think every fashionista should have a denim button down and navy slacks in their wardrobe. No need to spend a ton! My top is from Topshop, pants from Zara.

I accessorized with my Proenza Schouler metallic bag, some neck bling, and Elizabeth Cole earrings.


Today was definitely one of those days when I just got dressed as I normally would, and randomly called Karl Pierre to come shoot my look (thankfully he was available). So no beat face, no swanky event to go to…this is just how I’d rock on the day-to-day. I call it classic with a kick.
