New Orleans Style Diary: A Current Elliott Perfect Denim Shirt, Milly New York Leather Skirt, and Aminah Abdul Jillil Flats

Next year when I go to New Orleans, I’m packing nothing but flats and light fabrics!
It’s way too hot down there to wear anything else. I’d been wearing heels and blazers for most of the time, but finally came to my senses on Day 3 of Essence Music Festival in a Current Elliott Perfect Denim Shirt and a Milly skirt.

I can’t overstate the importance of comfortable shoes! I got lots of compliments on my studded stunners by Aminah Abdul Jillil.

A Chanel bag, Covergirl gloss, and a Fishbowl (!), and I was ready to take on Bourbon street.

Do you like my hair like this? I normally have it pinned up, but thought curls would be fun.
