My Black is Beautiful Style Diary: A Byron Lars Slate Sequin Kimono Top, an MSGM Silver Skirt, and Casadei Heels

Hey Hey!
So last night, I attended a celebratory dinner for Procter & Gamble’s My Black is Beautiful Imagine a Future program, which featured a performance by Sevyn Streeter!

For the night, I sidled up to metallics, specifically a Byron Lars Slate Sequin Kimono top, an MSGM skirt, and Casadei silver heels.

I further accessorized with a silver cuff and a Diane von Furstenberg clutch.

A few notes: the belt on this top is like a corset! I felt how a waist trainer must feel. LOL. And I basically broke the top. My ribs weren’t having it!

Also, funny aside. I had my makeup artist help me get into the top, and he remarked, “Your boobs look like a shelf!” The girls were certainly at attention last night!
