Monday Moment: It’s Now or Never (I’m Writing a Book)

Happy Monday, Bombers and Bombshells!
So today marks Day 1 of a few significant changes on The Bomb Life i.e. regular updates, twice a day (if I can swing it!). Mondays mark a new day, a chance to begin everything with a fresh perspective. So I thought Monday’s could be for moments of reflection.

Life is short. And while patience is a virtue, sometimes you simply must seize the day and do things that are on your long bucket list.

I’ll just go ahead and tell you because I can’t keep a secret: I’m writing a book. Yassss! And my first meeting with my ‘book coach’ (I always consult with professionals) is at 9am. So after updating this here website and cranking out some homework for FBD (sponsored posts, gotta keep the lights on!), I will begin in earnest to create an outline for a tome that I hope all of you will read and enjoy!

I always hesitated to write a book because I felt…I’m not there yet. I still have things to accomplish in my career. The BIG goal has not yet been reached. But I look around at SO many of my colleagues who have books. And I’m like…what am I waiting for?

I have reached certain thresholds, and I have some knowledge to impart. So I’ll do it now and see how it goes.
The ‘perfect time’ to do something may never arise. When I wanted to move to Paris, I had absolutely NOTHING planned. No job, little money, few contacts. But if I had waited until I had enough money, a job, and friends, I literally never would have gone. Just jump in head first and correct for mistakes along the way.

NOW. Since you guys actually read this site, tell me: what kinda book should I write? I have an idea (a mixture of my story + tips, basically a big old Bomb Life 101 post), but I’d love to hear your thoughts.
While you ponder, I’m going to do some work for the man (funnily your hobby can become a job then it becomes WORK). But I can’t complain, it is allll a blessing.
Anyway, holla! And wish me luck on the new Bomb Project (you’ll be getting updates, don’t worry!).
