Tavern On the Green Style Diary: A T by Alexander Wang Tee, Helmut Lang Skirt, and Gianvito Rossi Silver and Black Pumps

Hey! This past weekend, I headed uptown for a meeting at Tavern on the Green (67th and Central Park West). When I told people I was going to Tavern on the Green, a lot expressed surprise that it was still open! Well, it is open, vibrant, and the food is the bomb! At any rate, before I was thus afflicted, I hit up NYC hot spot Birds and Bubbles to indulge in a bit of post Thanksgiving fried chicken and champagne. Yes, you read that currently. This restaurant specializes in fried yard bird and bubbly. It is basically heaven on earth.…

4 Restaurants to Decompress and Rest During New York Fashion Week

So Fashion Week is a lot of fun! But as a Brookynite, it typically means heading to the city for hours at a time–which translates to me having to find places to post up and blog in between shows and events. A lot of my engagements are ‘off site’ i.e. away from Lincoln Center. So I’ve uncovered places off the beaten path, yet close enough to popular show venues so I can recharge and relax. Behold, my top 4 finds:…
