This shoot was such a feat to pull off! First, the items I really wanted to wear didn’t arrive (I ordered from Ssense, what a nightmare!! Honestly, if I can avoid them in the future, I will). So I just had to roll with it. Second, I wanted to get a view of the Opera House, but we decided to shoot on December 31st, so most open, beautiful city views were blocked off.
So, Lisa Pires and I drove all around Sydney in the heat for hours, hiking through the woods and climbing hills to find the perfect spot.
The result: this! And I’m pleased with the outcome.
This look is out of my comfort zone—which is ok. It’s ok to take risks, wear something unexpected. At the end of the day, it’s just fashion.
